Informationen über die VETAPHONE A/S

Verner Eisby, a brilliant young Danish engineer, registered his new company, VETAPHONE, on the first day of November 1951.
Prior to that day, Verner had been asked by one of his customers if he could find a solution which would make it possible to print on plastic.Verner saw the potential in solving this problem and found that there were already a couple of ways to accomplish this. One was a gas flame method and the other was a spark generating method, both of which were crude and uncontrollable and did not produce a homogeneous product.
Verner, a young man, who had already had established himself as one of the Worlds foremost experts in high frequency equipment, came up with the theory that a high frequency charge would provide both a more efficient and controllable method to treat the surface. Exhaustive experiments proved him to be correct. Vetaphone Electronics was born and they obtained patent rights for the new treatment system they had invented.Further product development was needed, and for a period of time Vetaphone worked with a local plastic manufacturer where they carried out tests and trails on a blown film line and printing presses. Taking this application to practical use would prove its value for the plastic and packaging industry as well as a profitable future for Vetaphone.
